First Bite: Solar Eclipse Begins Over San Antonio
A small notch along the Sun’s lower-left edge marks the beginning of an eclipse in this telescopic view from San Antonio, Texas. The glowing orange solar disk fills the frame against a black background, with distinct sunspot groups adding fine detail across its surface. Captured through a Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, the photograph preserves a subtle moment in the Moon’s passage across the Sun. #EngelPhotography #SolarEclipse #Astrophotography #SolarPhotography #Sunspots #Astronomy #TelescopePhotography #SanAntonio #Texas
