A Fierce Appearance

With its mouth open and head emerging from a dark opening, this moray eel looks imposing in a tightly framed portrait. Despite the dramatic appearance, the open-mouth posture is part of the eel’s normal process of circulating water over its gills. #MorayEel #Eel #MarineLife #OceanPredator #WildlifePhotography #AquariumLife #TexasStateAquarium #CorpusChristiTexas #EngelPhotography
