Glimmering Palometa

A Palometa moves gracefully through the water at the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi, Texas. Light glances across its silvery body, bringing out the subtle texture of its scales and warm golden accents along its fins and underside. Set against a deep aquatic background, the fish’s distinctive profile and reflective coloring become the focus of this intimate marine portrait.
