Silver in the Shadows

A Palometa glides through the water at the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus Christi, Texas. Its silvery body catches the aquarium light, revealing subtle patterns across its scales and a warm golden edge along its underside. The tight composition brings attention to the fish's large eye, streamlined profile, and reflective coloration against the soft, dark aquatic background.
